National Accounts

The National Accounts Division offers expert handling of highly complex multi-property, multi-county and multi-state commercial and industrial real estate transactions throughout the country. Our National Accounts offices are fully staffed and strategically located across the nation with specialized personnel who:

  • Offer title underwriting, title coordinating and escrow closing services vital to processing commercial/industrial real estate transactions anywhere in Arizona and throughout the nation.

  • Provide state by state information on title practices and recommend comparable coverages and endorsements needed by clients, including those who offer "multi-state" relocation services.

  • Efficiently deal with national lending institutions on construction, permanent financing, and refinancing transactions.

  • Provide a single-source contract for title, escrow and research services necessary to process multi-million dollar commercial and industrial real estate transactions nationwide.

Underwriters in all of our National Accounts offices are empowered to make decisions within their own offices. In our Phoenix office, John Graham, Regional Counsel, and Steve Hyman, State Title, underwrite transactions and make decisions for properties anywhere in the United States. In this way, clients who begin transactions in one office are assured of being able to deal with that same office no matter where the properties are located. In addition, we offer the security of being a direct underwriter with a net worth of $411 million and the ability to insure up to $100 million without reinsurance.

Our clients also have access to our National Underwriting Library either through our online website or on CD, including 290 endorsements, policies, and other real-estate related documents.

  • Volume I, endorsement manual: ALTA, CLTA and FA Endorsement with guidelines.

  • Volume II, title insurance forms section: policies, guarantees, commitments, certificates.

  • Volume III, covers real estate practices: a state-by-state guide, a brief explanation on conducting business by state, i.e., conveyance documents, security instruments, foreclosure.

  • Volume IV, publication and articles: articles having to do with current issues in the industry.
